UWC in Costa Rica
Apart from the day to day post card perfect sights, Costa Rica is also home to a unique United World College. Unique, in it being the only college geared towards functioning fully and maintaining a bilingual environment. Though fluency in spanish is not necessary for admission it is likely that students will be proficient in spanish upon graduation. Which in itself is an unparalleled asset/advantage in today’s global community.
Besides being the only college offering Courses in both english and spanish, the three pillars upon which this particular school was founded are Conflict Resolution, the Environment, and Multiculturalism. Which many of the co-curricular activities reflect.
